Nick Panzera, Executive Director of Victory Temple Ministries, has served in a leadership role in this “in-the-streets” ministry for over twelve years. An ex-heroin addict, Nick has a heart for the lost and a passion for discipling men and women on a road of transformation through Christ. In addition to overseeing the Men’s Home and the Women’s Home, he has pastored Victory Temple Church for the past two years. Under his leadership, the congregation has experienced growth and blessings. Nick continues to uphold the vision of the ministry (to rescue men and women and lead them to Christ), training leaders to carry the vision and further expand the kingdom.
Nick’s Testimony “Since I was a small child I can always remember wanting to be accepted. I began using drugs when I was 12 years old. By the age of 25 I was using heroin and hooked on methadone. I frequented jails and rehabilitation centers for close to 10 straight years. During this time in my life, I was caught up in a vicious cycle of building up and losing all I had. I not only lost material possessions, but my two children to the state of Texas, my self esteem, and my hope for eternal life.I was bound by sin and disbelief, but ONE DAY…when I was a great way off, God saw me and had great compassion. He lead me to the victory home and introduced me to genuine care and concern: the true love of Jesus Christ. Today God is using what the devil intended for bad for good. My parents have a relationship with both my kids, and he has given me the opportunity to be active in their lives. I’ve realized that sometimes a person has to go through sadness to understand and appreciate happiness. God has blessed my life. That is why I give all the honor and glory to God.”
